Photography has held a piece in telling our stories for nearly two-hundred years. It made its entrance and held its piece of the artistic world, portraying messages real or construed, freezing moments in still frames, and evoking emotion — like all pieces of art tend to do.
As your photographer, I love telling your stories. Documenting play time with your babies; capturing expressions of bliss passed from one lover to another; preserving wrinkles in weathered hands that have held generations in them.
My mom gave each of my sisters and I long, full names. Names she scrounged through saints books to find — name’s she said could be on doctor’s doors, or famous paintings, or history books. Names that were for those who were strong and faithful, like she prayed we would be.
Magdalene Louise Photography is who I am — my name and my passion. From my camera, to frames on your walls, I long to document time that is oh so fleeting, and to create heirlooms that can be cherished for years to come. I strive to glorify God with the talents He has given me, and I am so pleased to be able to share that gift with all of you!
